What are the system requirements?
The Hit List requires iOS 9.1 or higher. Devices include:
- iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus
- iPod Touch: Fifth Generation, Sixth Generation
- iPad: 2nd generation and above; mini (all models); Air (all models); Pro
- Apple Watch: All models
How can I reorder lists on the iPhone?
Currently, you can’t reorder lists on The Hit List for iPhone. We have plans to provide this feature in a future version.
For now, you’ll have to rearrange them on The Hit List for Mac and sync over your changes.
How can I sort tasks in a list?
To have The Hit List sort tasks automatically for you:
- Tap the “Edit” button at the top right of the screen.
- Tap the “Sort” button that appears at the top left of the screen.
- Select an attribute to sort by.
Icon badge count is not always up to date
We are investigating the best solution to keep the icon badge count accurate all the time. Whether it be through push notification or something else, we’ll try to fix this in a future version.
Will you be implementing location based tasks?
We are currently looking into supporting location based tasks. We do not know when it’ll be implemented yet.
Can I add tasks using a custom URL scheme from 3rd party apps?
Yes. You can use thehitlist:// url scheme to add tasks
to The Hit List. Please refer to the section of our online documentation on
Custom URL Scheme.
How do I transfer my lists from the old version of The Hit List?
Use our Sync service for this. Here’s how.
