Pro Edition users with HTML experience can focus on custom markup while Sandvox manages the HTML that forms the foundation of each collection, page, or pagelet. The Pro Edition's HTML editor window allows you to edit HTML or JavaScript with syntax coloring and see your changes instantly applied to the page. If your host supports PHP or other scripting languages, these can be entered as well. (To review the results of adding these scripts the website must be uploaded and viewed from the hosting server.)
Edit Raw HTML: With a single command, any text element on a page or in a pagelet can also be edited as Raw HTML. Whether you want to make adjustments to formatted text, insert tables, format bulleted lists, or otherwise work directly with the Raw HTML, the Pro Edition gives you the ability to do so.
Raw HTML Pages and Pagelets: If you want to create a page or pagelet composed mostly of custom HTML, you can do so using the Pro Edition's HTML editing window without modifying the rest of the page or pagelet's structure. Raw HTML Pages may also further define the <head> and <body>, creating a completely custom page within your overall website.
Code Injection: Some websites need HTML, JavaScript, or scripting code, such as PHP, inserted at specific spots in the page, outside of the main <body>. The Code Injection panel makes these insertions a snap, on any page or all pages of the site.
HTML Validation: Although most browsers are forgiving of malformed HTML, incorrect HTML can result in a different look or substandard performance when your site is viewed by others. The Pro Edition makes HTML validation simple by integrating directly with the W3C Validator.
Naked Content: To help you verify accessibility to the visually impaired and understand how other machines, such as Google's indexer, "see" your website, Sandvox Pro allows you to temporarily turn off CSS so you can get a sense of the structure and content of your website independent of its styled layout.
