While we welcome spirited discussion in the Karelia forums, we also want these resources to be constructive and helpful to as many of our customers as possible. In that spirit, we require that all participants agree to the following ground rules. Forum contributors who don’t follow these rules may have their posts edited, removed, or may be barred from posting. While the opinions expressed in the forums may not reflect those of Karelia Software—and we respect that—we reserve the right to revoke the posting privileges of contributors who violate the rules.
Disagreement: While disagreement is acceptable--and can be helpful--disagreement accompanied by personal attacks, insults, name-calling, and rudeness aren’t.
Spam: No spam. There’s already too much of it in the world. Posts containing spam will be summarily deleted at the Administrator’s discretion.
Staying on topic: To make the forum distinctions as helpful as possible, please stay on-topic when adding a response or considering a new discussion.
Respecting others’ rights: Do not post information or material that belong to others unless you have explicit permission to share it. This includes images. It also includes the content of email or other correspondence you may have received, information you’ve obtained under an NDA (nondisclosure agreement), or information that was shared with you with the expectation that it wouldn’t be disclosed. We also don’t condone information about or links to pirated software or "solutions" that violate another’s rights.
Although we hope problems will be few and far between, if you believe these rules have been violated, contact Karelia Support so we can review and address the situation.
