*Grins sheepishly* found the problem, I have Adblock on Firefox, so since I knew that the banner worked for you, I tried to deactivate Adblock for the site and lo and behold the banner appeared.... Just goes to show that sometimes it is the small things that trip you up. So it seems that Adblock thinks the banner is an ad and so it blocks it, might be useful for someone else later on. Thanks for the help.

I just tried using Firefox to try something on my site and I noticed that the image I used as a banner just doesn’t show up. There is just the grey background. It works fine with Safari which is the browser I usually use. It also works fine on my iPhone and my wife’s iPad, but then again they are both using a version of Safari. Since I use more than one template/design I have two other sites/parts that use the generic banner included with the design and they load with no problem. I also made a test page using the same design as the site but using the generic banner and the banner loaded with no problem. So I’m not really sure what is happening. Here is the site: http://pages.csdgs.net/~u119713267/ and here is the test with he generic banner http://pages.csdgs.net/~u119713267/testing2/
If nayone has nay ideas let me know.
Thanks
DenisF
