The Hit List for iPhone 2.3 Includes The Hit List for Apple Watch, Plus a New Today Widget for Notification Center
Pasadena, Calif. - June 4, 2015 - Karelia Software today released The Hit List for iPhone version 2.3, now bringing The Hit List to the Apple Watch with support for Glances, plus a new Today widget for Notification Center and support for using 1Password with The Hit List Sync Service.
An entirely new way to approach the app, The Hit List for Apple Watch presents an elegant, efficient interface ideal for brief interactions, just a few seconds long.
"We've taken a different approach than other apps which ported straight to the Apple Watch," explained Dan Wood, founder of Karelia Software. "Not only did we take the extra time to test on actual shipping Apple Watch devices, but our approach included a complete redesign specific to the entirely new way the Apple Watch is used in daily life."
The Hit List for Apple Watch presents immediate direct access to the Today list. With Apple's Force Touch technology, a press anywhere on the Today list lets people add a task using dictation.
A tap on any task presents options to complete the task, move the task to tomorrow, or view task details. A tap on task details also lets users complete the task, but expands with an option to change the dates in 1-day or 1-week increments, and access the task notes. Alternatively, a press on the task details lets users complete, cancel, or start tomorrow. Changes to tasks on the Apple Watch show up right away on the iPhone and on the Mac.
The Hit List glance provides a quick overview of the number of tasks completed today and the number of tasks still due.
In addition to Apple Watch support, The Hit List for iPhone version 2.3 also adds a Today widget for Notification Center as well as support for 1Password when signing in to The Hit List Sync Service. The version 2.3 update is available immediately at no charge for all customers of The Hit List 2 for iPhone.

Using The Hit List is as easy as making lists on a Mac and/or iPhone, and powerful enough to let you plan, move on, and then act at the right time. The Hit List includes access to its own fast and reliable sync service for individuals to keep tasks and lists in sync between desktop and mobile devices.
