We're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel, and no, it's not an oncoming train! We're just getting close to release of the 1.0 version of Sandvox. We are really excited about how it is shaping up, and we hope you are too!
So as you might guess, there's a new beta available for download — beta 15. We've solved lots of crash and memory issues, squished a doozy of a bug that prevented drag-and-drop from working on Intel machines, sped up processing of graphics, and much much more. We think you'll like the new "index" pagelet that will allow you list the contents of a collection from your site. And by popular demand, we now have local hyperlinks, with a fun way to connect them up — give it a try by choosing "Create Link" from the toolbar.
If you have the older beta 14 version of Sandvox running, you can download the new version by clicking on the "Update Sandvox" badge in the corner of the window. Or, just use click on this URL:
This might just be our last beta version of Sandvox for this release. We'd love to get reports of all the bugs you can find. We can't add any new features, at least for version 1.0, so don't worry about those "Wouldn't it be great if..." notes. But if you have crashes display problems, uploading issues, editing problems, and so forth, please get your reports in soon.
